What I bring to the floor
My time in education-centred and coaching roles have given me a lot of experience communicating complex ideas to clients in a digestible format and providing support throughout both the physical and mental challenges of rehab.
A little backstory
I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities where I found no shortage of sports to participate in and very quickly found a passion for martial arts. I practiced Taekwondo for 14 years, coached for 10 years, and competed and refereed provincially for several years as well. My experiences as a coach and athlete sparked my interest in teaching, exercise, and helping others; it put me on the path towards Kinesiology and the rehabilitation sciences.
Outside the clinic
Outside the clinic you can find me practicing martial arts, running, hiking, indoor rock climbing, or in the gym lifting heavy things and putting them down. You could also find me baking, attending live shows, binging Netflix, or searching Vancouver for the best cafes. Its all about balance!

What I bring to the training floor
My experience being a yoga student and teacher has taught me about how movement and connection with the body and breath can bring people peace. I’m so excited to combine my education and knowledge of the human body with my passion of caring for others into my own kinesiology practice.
A little backstory
I grew up in a small town near Calgary, Alberta, and spent most of my younger days playing various sports and nursing various injuries. I was a classic high school jock so It was only natural for me to continue my education in kinesiology. There I found my passion for helping people find body awareness and healing through movement.
Outside the clinic
Outside of the clinic you can find me at the yoga studio, catching a live music show, or heading up to Whistler for a powder day. On the other hand, I’m totally guilty of binge watching an entire series on Netflix within a couple days 🤷🏼♀️

What I bring to the table
Through my dedication to sport, I have learned a lot about what it takes to be an elite athlete and the injuries and mental stressors that come along with it. I am passionate about working with my clients to improve their quality of movement by promoting recovery and allowing for optimal performance during activity and daily life. Through my clinical placements I have had the opportunity to learn about and treat many different neurological, cardio-respiratory, and musculoskeletal conditions. I will always bring a positive vibe to the clinic and actively listen to all of my clients’ concerns.
A little backstory
I was born and raised in beautiful Kelowna BC. I grew up playing a number of sports but fell in love and dedicated a lot of my time to figure skating. I competed nationally and internationally in many different places around the world. I also shared my passion for the sport by coaching skaters of all ages and all abilities, including Special Olympics
Outside the clinic
You can find me doing anything active! I have recently picked up hockey, waterskiing, tennis, and golf! I continue to enjoy spending time at the rink coaching and skating. I appreciate any time that I can spend with my friends and family exploring the city, camping, and hiking up a mountain!

What I bring to the table
My passion for learning and my in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures. In my journey to physiotherapy I first completed a Master of Science in Clinical Anatomy where I conducted research with orthopaedic surgeons looking at a variety of surgical approaches.
I then moved to Chicago to teach cadaver dissection at UIC where I still work as a faculty member teaching anatomy remotely. Since completing my physiotherapy training I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals, from weekend-warriors, clients with neurological impairments, and of course, many post-surgical patients.
A little backstory
I was born and raised in South Burnaby and played high level soccer for 18 years. I suffered a major knee injury that required 3 surgeries, and as is often the case for physios, I had such admiration for my own personal physiotherapist that I wanted to get involved in the profession and give back in the same way my physio had done for me.
Outside the clinic
When I’m not working at the clinic you can find me lecturing at different universities, out for a bike ride on the seawall, swimming in one of the amazing lakes around BC, or exploring some of Vancouver’s best eats/local craft breweries; I’m a self-proclaimed craft beer aficionado.

A little backstory
As a Chinese-Born-Canadian who grew up trying to find his place in the world, sports opened a path I never knew existed. I played, coached, and refereed multiple sports. That eventually led me to pursue my undergrad in Kinesiology at UBC and my masters in Physiotherapy halfway across the world in Sydney. It gave me an opportunity to travel and see the world while I strive to help others accomplish what they set out to do.
Outside the clinic
I am a gym advocate so I like to practice what I preach. I try to incorporate sport specific training for performance and injury prevention for whatever sport I am playing, e.g. hockey, tennis, volleyball, golf, etc. I am also a Regional Volleyball referee so I referee PacWest/CanWest volleyball games, and on occasion, international matches with Team Canada. When I am not working I am playing ice hockey, tennis, golf, or any other sport with friends.

I hope that by working with me, clients will not only meet their immediate goals but also feel assured that they have the tools and confidence to continue to participate in the activities they love.
A little backstory
I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and moved to beautiful British Columbia as a young child. Growing up, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy all that our province has to offer through sports like snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking and kayaking. Staying active has taken on different meanings at different parts of my life and has eventually lead me to pursue a career in physiotherapy. I love helping others return to doing the activities that bring them meaning and fulfillment.

What I bring to the table
My willingness to teach and my reluctance to stop learning. I love what I do. I believe that our profession can only grow if we put the effort into growing ourselves. I am a clinical educator and mentor for the UBC program. And whether it was my experience with university/ professional athletes, the Olympics, or le Cirque du Soleil, I have used every opportunity to learn and grow as a therapist, and I am always happy to share that experience and expertise to any and all who need it.
A little backstory
I was 11 years old playing competitive hockey when I first damaged my knee. I remember going to Physio and doing exercises and saying to myself: “This job is awesome, this is what I want to do”. That determination led me half way around the world to UQ, one of the foremost leaders in physiotherapy. That drive continued, opening doors at the 2010 Olympic Games and later in the medical department for Le Cirque du Soleil. Ive taken that drive and experience and continue to improve myself everyday, more recently by completing my Fellowship in the field of clinical orthopaedics.
Outside of the clinic
As I have gotten older, I’ve started to spend less time training in the gym and early morning skates and more time working out chasing my kids around. Less balancing on Swiss balls and more balancing life. Don’t get me wrong, that feeling of skates cutting into a fresh sheet of ice still gives me goose bumps, but I now have a different goal in life and I am putting all that fire towards them.

Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, I trained and worked for several years in Barrie before thinking I’d settle in for a nice, boring road to retirement at a spa in the country. I lasted about 2 years before missing the fun of working on a multi-disciplinary team and the challenge of rehab cases. So I made the leap and moved to beautiful BC!

What I bring to my treatment
I will bring my sense of empathy, kindness, and inclusiveness. I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to learn about yourself, explore your challenges, and pursue your goals.
Some of the approaches and modalities I choose from in my work with you include; Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Somatic, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
A little backstory
I was born and raised in Iran and immigrated to Canada in 2005. Immigrating to Canada impacted me as a person, and made me interested in human resiliency, loss, grief, race, cultural differences, feminism, and self-discovery. In addition, being a parent taught me that self-love, self-compassion, and self-respect are crucial in how I connect with my child. These major life experiences and my self-awareness are helping me when I am present with my client’s self-discovery.

What I bring to the table
I’m a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy program and prior to this, I had over a decade of experience working as a Shiatsu Therapist and as a residential care aid for adults with development disabilities and mental health conditions. Both of these skills and experiences complemenet my massage therapy. My proficiencies include a variety of corrective techniques, among which include myofascial, neuromuscular, IASTM, and joint mobilizations.
A little backstory
As a life long Vancouverite, I understood early on that helping others was something I enjoyed and connected with. While I thought that counselling was my calling (majored in psychology at SFU), I soon realized that I had more confidence in supporting people with my hands than with my words.

What I bring to the table
I provide an active and research-based approach to rehabilitation by promoting tailored exercises that fit your needs but with an understanding that using hands-on skills and a more passive approach is beneficial. My active approach developed by providing care for elite athletes: from CFL players to EuroLeague Pro Basketball players. This approach was further developed by working with stroke and brain injury patients at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, where I enjoyed providing specialized exercise and instruction to those that need it most. My 9+ years of experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor helped me develop strong observational and instructional skills through working with a variety of populations; from children with disabilities to adults with aquaphobia.
A little backstory
Originally from Winnipeg, MB; I grew up in a diverse neighborhood surrounded by friends from all walks of life. I immersed myself in a variety of sports growing up which kickstarted my love of fitness. I was the kid in high school who hit the gym during lunch hours and enjoyed sharing this space with friends. I moved to BC in November 2021 because of the potential to enjoy the city life, the outdoors, and to meet new people.
Outside the clinic
You’ll find me exploring the big city; site-seeing, searching for new places to eat, and new craft beers to drink. What I bring to the table
As part of my studies at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT), I was a student intern at the VCMT clinic and finished 550 hours of internship. I’ve had a chance to work with a wide range of individuals that suffer from various issues such as acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, limitations in mobility and headaches.
A little backstory
I was born and grew up in the Philippines and I moved to Vancouver in 2016. I’ve loved the city ever since. I first thought of working in the field of rehabilitation after volunteering at Sunny Hill Health Centre, a rehabilitation centre for children. I saw firsthand how much it meant for the patients to be able to regain functional mobility and it made me want to be a part of their journey to wellbeing. I chose to study massage because I’m able to be 100% hands on with my patients and help them achieve their treatment goals.
Outside the clinic
Whenever it’s sunny and warm outside, I like going to the mountains and checking out new hiking trails. If it’s cold and raining, I’ll be training at the gym for boxing, kickboxing and occasionally BJJ. And when I’m feeling lazy, I’ll plop myself on the couch and binge watch my favourite movies or TV series.

What I bring to the table
I have a strong background in exercise prescription and sport specific training. This background comes from a 3 year strength & conditioning internship I had while at Queen’s University, where I worked with varsity athletes developing, planning and implementing their strength & conditioning programs. I believe that exercise & movement is a great tool not only for sport specific goals and injury rehab, but also as a means to create a higher quality of life and improve wellness throughout your lifespan. I am always on the lookout for new ways to challenge myself, and my clients, through exercise and strength based movements.
A little backstory
I grew up in the small town of Haliburton, Ontario and moved out to the west coast in 2020. My love for the mountains grew after I spent 3 summers living in the beautiful mountain town of Banff, Alberta, where you could find me hiking, camping, and exploring the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains. I love a wide array of sports and activities and have kept busy over the years playing and competing in field hockey, volleyball, track & field, 3 types of skiing (downhill, cross country and water skiing), running and swimming to name a few! When I was not in school, playing sports, or in the mountains, I was travelling – I absolutely love it and have been to over 30 countries! I continue to enjoy exploring and immersing myself in different cultures, as it really gets me out of my comfort zone and challenges the way I think.
Outside of the clinic
You can find me outside – hiking, camping, exploring the backcountry, running the Seawall, and in the winter, downhill or cross country skiing! I also spend a ton of time at the gym, at the spin studio, and perfecting my Pilates techniques. I am constantly striving to be a better athlete, and am currently training for my first Ironman.

My experience ranges from working with new moms & pregnant women to professional athletes and weekend warriors. My goal is to empower my clients to take back control of their fitness journey. I want to give my clients knowledge of their body anatomy, educate on proper biomechanics and encourage safe exercise through proper warm ups, core stabilization and sweaty circuit training.
A little backstory
Being a true Canadian born & raised in North Vancouver, I spent many mornings in a cold yet freshly zambonied ice rink. I competed at three national figure skating championships and obtained a B.Sc degree in Biomedical Physiology (basically a lot of science about the human body and how it moves). My athletic & academic background inspired my love of teaching proper exercise technique and creating fun yet sweaty workouts.

My humanity, my deep care for you and for meeting you where you are, my commitment to supporting, advocating for, and honouring you in your explorations and reclamations, as well as everything my body and I have learned and continue to learn from navigating healing and the healing process in relationship and in community.

I am purposeful in integrating rituals in the therapeutic context, especially when accompanying you in your explorations of intergenerational and ancestral healing.

What I bring to the table
I was always intrigued by movement, nutrition, and the capability of the human body growing up as an athlete. I empower my patients to take control of their health through informed choices based on education of the root causes of their conditions and their internal profiles. In partnership with my patients, we work together to achieve meaningful results.
A little backstory
I grew up on the west coast in North Vancouver with the mountains, mossy forest and rainy days. However, I spent most of my days in an ice rink. I competed at the Canadian National Figure Skating Championships in Ice Dance from 2011 to 2013 but my skating career ended due to chronic groin and low back injury which would alter my life after sport. I struggled to walk, sleep, and do every day activities. Three years later, I ended up in a naturopathic doctors office to work on treating the root cause of my pain. I was so inspired by naturopathic medicine and all it had to offer that I applied to become a naturopathic doctor myself.

After working as a personal trainer for 4 years, I have experience with training collegiate level athletes and weekend warriors. Based on my musculoskeletal treatment background, I specialize in treating work-related injuries and motor vehicle accidents.
I have completed advanced manual therapy courses that allows me to effectively treat the neck, shoulder, upper and lower back.
Furthermore, I can provide physiotherapy services in Chinese, French and English.
A little backstory
As a born and raised South-Vancouver Chinese kid, I grew up occasionally practicing martial arts, swimming lessons and being forced to take piano lessons.
I was very skinny and un-athletic in high school, and I knew I had to do more for my fitness. In my first year of university, I began to lift weights at the gym and it soon grew into a burning passion for exercise. I was studying Kinesiology at the time, and it made sense to combine my passion for health and fitness into a profession.
Physiotherapy was a natural progression, because I really enjoy learning about the human body, and I have always wanted to help others in my community!
Outside the clinic
You can find me almost living at the gym, as it is one of my favourite hobbies. I competed in my first powerlifting competition in 2015, where I won first place in the BCPA Winter Open Bench Press.
I am always training, and I hope to compete again in the future. Outside of the gym, I am starting to play volleyball, and I am also playing in a multi-sport league with my church team.
I enjoy seeking new experiences, and I am hoping to try different sports and outdoor activities this year!

What I bring to the table
Taking into account that each client is unique with conditions that present differently, I am skilled in many acupuncture methods such as palpation by AcuPressure, classic acupuncture, Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling, advanced cupping methods with the goal of providing maximum relief and a better pathway to wellness for the future.
A little backstory
I fell in love with Vancouver when I first visited many years ago and decided to move here to enjoy the seawall and mild weather. Luckily, I was introduced to a Traditional Chinese medicine doctor in my local community who encouraged me and led me to continue my passion for acupuncture and herbal medicine, following the footsteps of my beloved grandfather.
Outside the clinic
When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy being in the mountains skiing and taking road trips and soaking in the views from coast to coast.
