NEW CLIENTS and INITIAL ASSESSMENTS – When booking your initial assessment, we recommend that you book a minimum of 1-2 sessions a week for 4-6 weeks to avoid a waitlist and to ensure your desired time slots. Please make sure you book with the same therapist for these follow up sessions. Your therapist will review your pre-booked schedule at the end of your initial assessment and recommend any changes if necessary.
Please make sure you have familiarized yourself with our new COVID Clinic Policies prior to attending our clinic to ensure everyone’s safety.
We are still able to offer our TELEHEALTH services for physio, kinesiology and naturopathic services for those who are preferring to receive treatment and still socially distance.
CANCELLATION POLICY Please provide us with a minimum of 48 hours advanced notice.

Your credit card will not be charged without verbal or written notification.

We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment, this includes same day bookings.

Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or who miss their appointment, will be charged the full appointment fee. This fee cannot be billed to insurance providers.

For last minute illness/covid related issues restricting in-person attendance, where possible we will switch to a virtual visit to continue your care.

Naturopathic - General Medicine
Naturopathic medicine emphasizes the promotion of health, prevention of disease, patient education and individual responsibility by using therapeutically and cost-effective approaches to preventing and treating chronic disease.
Our naturopathic doctor will assist in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of physical, mental and emotional conditions by promoting well-being using therapeutics that support or enhance a patient’s overall health.
Your visit will include taking your past medical history, family history, possibly ordering diagnostic tests and recommending the appropriate therapy for your needs.
Naturopathic - Prolotherapy
A regenerative injection therapy used to target weakened or damaged ligaments or tendons with the combination of dextrose and anaesthetic injected into the affected areas
Naturopathic - Physical Medicine
Trigger point injections consist of a sugar and anaesthetic solution injected directly into the tight, guarded muscle(s) which can lead to reduction of chronic muscle pain, headaches and referred pain.
Perineural therapy is a series of injections into the skin which affects superficial nerves.
Neural therapy is an injection technique that involves injecting anesthetics into peripheral nerves, cutaneous nerves, scars, acupuncture points, trigger points and tight muscles.

All of our treatments are done in a private, one on one, setting, where you are getting the full, undivided attention of your physiotherapist for the entire length of your appointment. We realize your time is valuable and aim to utilize every second of treatment in order to allow for the most efficient recovery possible.
Our experienced and specialized sport and orthopaedic physiotherapists use a variety of techniques including exercise, manual therapy and IMS (Intramuscular stimulation). Your therapist can help you increase your functional ability, expand your movement potential, and improve your quality of life as they are uniquely trained to help you regain motion, reduce pain and achieve specific performance, health and fitness goals.
Virtual (Online) Physiotherapy
This session is a remote, online (virtual) session. You'll need a device with an operational camera and mic (laptop, tablet or smart phone)
Based off the initial findings, treatment may include: active exercise, functional progression, education, self management, self mobilization, or monitoring (such as for external signs of swelling, redness, etc.)
Lastly, your practitioner will continue to follow-up with you as needed to help guide you back to your regular activities and good health.
Concussion Physiotherapy
Your assessment includes a thorough medical history as well as a screen of your cervical spine, your vestibular system, and your visual system from which a treatment plan is formulated.
Our physiotherapist will educate you in the proper management in the early phases of suffering a concussion including proper rest and help to coordinate a return to activities protocol.
Lastly, your physiotherapist will liaise with your Family Doctor updating them of any findings and making any further referrals or recommendations for testing that may be warranted.
Sessions are minimum 30 minute sessions in a private room with one on one treatment and education from your therapist

Women's Health Physiotherapy - Pelvic Floor/Prenatal/Postpartum
Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a specialty area of physiotherapy that requires advanced training of the practitioner. Pelvic floor physiotherapy can treat urinary leakage/incontinence, pelvic pain or pressure, pelvic organ prolapse, and more.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy can also assess the pelvic floor prenatally to ensure strength, length, and treat pregnancy related aches and pains (within 17-37 weeks). Postpartum physiotherapy is recommended to begin at 6 weeks postpartum. Postpartum physiotherapy can treat a number of concerns and ensure a safe return to physical activity.
An internal examination is recommended as part of your pelvic floor assessment, but is optional based on client comfort! All sessions will be completed 1 on 1 with your practitioner, in a private room. It is recommended to book 1-2 follows up at time of booking initial to ensure no booking difficulties.
Virtual (Online) Women's Health Physiotherapy -Pelvic Floor/Prenatal/Postpartum
This session is a remote, online (tele-rehab) session. You'll need a device with an operational camera and mic (laptop, tablet or smart phone)
Pelvic floor physiotherapists, have obtained additional training to be able to complete internal exams. This allows our practitioners, to have an in depth understanding of your past and present medical history and provide the best treatment and care possible. Please book with one of our pelvic health therapists for assistance with any of the following conditions or needs: stress and urge incontinence issues, pelvic pain, ano-retal disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy aches and pain, C-Section recovery, postpartum recovery, abdominal separation and postpartum return to exercise

All of our BCAK registered Kinesiologists hold a degree in either Kinesiology or Human Kinetics and use their education to help navigate you and your injury or condition through an individually designed routine to increase your core stability, postural alignment, overall strength, endurance and range of motion.
